National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day

Our landfills are full and leaking and a lot of people, it seems, don’t know not to flush medicine.  Because of this, myriad medications are showing up in our drinking water to the point that the safety of drinking it is becoming very questionable. There is an answer though.

The D. E. A. is having National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day this coming Saturday, October 26, 2013.  They will be taking back unused and expired medications and will properly dispose of them.

The program is open Saturday, October 26, 2013, and from 10 am to 2 pm.

To find the nearest take-back site go here and enter your zip code.

Remember: it is only Saturday, October 26, 2013 and only from 10 am to 2 pm.

Finally!  A really good excuse to make ourselves clean out that closet!  If you’re like me, I can always use more de-cluttering.

Now, where is that calendar?!?!
