Just FYI!, Right and wrong

Am I A Homophobe? Yes, I am. BUT It Does Not Mean What You Think.

.

   .

Origin of -PHOBE

Greek -phobos fearing

-phobe

noun combining form \ˌfōb\

Medical Definition of -PHOBE:

one fearing or averse to (something specified)<chromophobe>[*]

Definition of AVERSE

:  having an active feeling of repugnance or distaste —usually used with to <averse to strenuous exercise>[**]

.
THE WORD PHOBE HAS TWO (2) MEANINGS!  May I please set one thing straight once and for all: I am not scared.

Below is an excellent 3.5 minute teaching on why Christians can not accept as O. K. what G-d says is sin.

On This Day – 22 Shevat

Before anyone writes any snide or nasty comments about G-d not being real let me explain something to you:

You can not tell me that my husband does not exist.  Why?

      • I know him personally and many others know him also.
      • I have seen the way that he has changed my life.  For the better!
      • I have seen the times that he has protected me from physical, emotional, spiritual harm.
      • He has literally saved my life, being willing to die in the process.  And without blinking an eye.
      • He has given me things that I know could only have come from him, because he was the only one that knew I wanted them.
      • We have personal, intimate talks.
      • When I praise him, he draws closer to me and wants to give me anything I want (that is not detrimental to myself or others).
      • He loves me and I love him.
      • And the list goes on, and on, and on.
      • He is real.

KNOW my husband exists: I have a close, personal relationship with him.  The same with G-d.  He has done all of those things for me, too:

      • I know him personally and many others know him also.
      • I have seen the way that he has changed my life.  For the better!
      • I have seen the times that he has protected me from physical, emotional, spiritual harm.
      • He has literally saved my life, being willing to die in the process.  And without blinking an eye.
      • He has given me things that I know could only have come from him, because he was the only one that knew I wanted them.
      • We have personal, intimate talks.
      • When I praise him, he draws closer to me and wants to give me anything I want.
      • He loves me and I love him.
      • And the list goes on, and on, and on.
      • He is real.

When someone has grown green beans in their back yard for 20 years, they know they are real.  You cannot convince someone who has experienced something that it does not exist.  Can’t be done.  And there are far too many of us that have experienced His love and work in our lives, and it has been experienced ever since mans creation.  It is not a fluke.  Nor is it imagination.

Many believe in, or even  serve, a deity that is not even alive.  Our G-d is.  And always will be.

I want to see if those opposed to our beliefs actually read this whole article:

If you don’t agree, please just keep your “corrections”, “your truths”, and what ever else you may call them to yourself.  I will not believe them. If you do insist on leaving that type of comment, be assured that I will be praying for you to come to know Christ as we do.  And I ask every other believer that reads this to do the same.

So, as Dirty Harry said, “You’ve got to ask yourself one question: ‘Do I feel lucky?’ Well, do ya?”[***]

Sorry, I just could not resist.  But, do ya’?

Abortions, Just FYI!

One Person CAN Make A Difference! Will You Be The One?

When Roe vs. Wade came up,  all the good people of this country said, “They’ll never legalize killing babies.”

So everyone sat back and did nothing.

Abortion is now not only legal, it is as easy to get as a box of Kleenex.  All the way up to minutes before birth.  This is when they partially deliver the baby, stab it in the back of the neck, and cut the spinal cord and/or crush his skull.  (Did you know that they have to kill the baby before the abortion!  This is a very painful procedure for the child.  Just sayin’.)

When  Madeleine Murray O’Hare (O’Hair) wanted prayer and Bible out of schools all the good people of this country said, “They’ll never take prayer or the Bible out of schools.”

So everyone sat back and did nothing.

Murray was known for her role in the landmark 1963 Supreme Court decision in Murray v. Curlett , which, combined with Abington v. Schempp, ended school prayer in public schools across the U.S. and turned her into the self-described “most hated woman in America.”[1]

Not only did they take the Bible out of schools, but out of government, and are attempting to take it out of our Churches as well.  (Christians have the least rights of any group in America today.)

Without the basics of “This is wrong, so you don’t do it” children grow up with no respect for themselves or others, no respect for life, and no respect for others property.

And look where we are now.

What issues rile you up?  What do you see or hear about that you and just know something could be done to fix it.  What do you “have a bee in your bonnet” about?

If one woman changed the nation with each of the issues above, you can change the issue that bothers you.

So, what are you doing about it?

Or will you sit back and do nothing?

Watch this 3 minute video and see what happens.

Should we start using these?  Who would be in charge of them?  Would this be a good abortion alternative?

Happy New Year

2013 is over and 2014 is still a blank canvas. To quote a song I believe he wrote

December 29, 2013 fb status update by Ken Hartley
I forget what is behind and press on to what’s ahead. What is done is done, what’s been said has been said. With my past under the blood, and by Your Spirit led, I forget what is behind and press on to what’s ahead.

Thanks again, Ken. This so ministered to me as I know it will countless others.

To all who read this: May the peace of Christ fill your home and life that others may come to know Him and may 2014 see all of your dreams come true.

Keeping Christ #1 and just watching to see what all He’ll do.

#excited!

Happy Peaceful Year to all World!
